March 16 & 17 Tri Chapter

The Puget Sound Chapter hosted the Tri-Chapter this year at the Holiday Inn located at 3105 Pine Street in Everett WA. The program consisted of an 8 hour session on Friday that took a look at the code making process for the 2008 edition of the NEC using many of the upcoming significant changes. It was presented by Michael Johnston, Director of Education Codes and Standards, IAEI. Saturday's program consisted of a 4 hour update for the RCW/WAC rules presented by Christine Porter of Intertek Testing Services and Tim Hingtgen of Labor & Industries and a 2 hour session on Controversial Code Requirements, a closer look presented by Joe Andre of NEMA and Warren Shill of UL.
